About The Event

A delegation from the KNUST recently visited Offenburg University to explore potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions. The team engaged in discussions regarding the potential for joint Ph.D. training programs in the fields of Computer Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Renewable Engineering. During their visit, the delegation subsequently discussed the potential of joint research projects and mobility grants for both staff and students. These discussions centered around the developmental goals of both universities and how they could align to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. The delegation was impressed with Offenburg University's recent internalisation efforts and their impact on the university's research and innovation capabilities. Both parties agreed that a partnership between KNUST and Offenburg would create opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and expertise, as well as provide a platform for joint research projects and the training of the next generation of engineers and scientists. This would go a long way in fostering collaboration as well as building a long-lasting partnership between the two universities.
