DIPPER Lab begins one-month internship for students
The DIPPER Lab at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has begun a one-month internship programme for students, with an orientation and tour of its research facilities.
The first day of the internship introduced the students to the Lab, its research activities and some of the innovations being developed by its researchers.
As part of the orientation, researchers took the students on a tour of the Lab and explained some of the projects and technologies being worked on.
The session also gave the students an opportunity to learn about the different research areas at DIPPER Lab and the work they will be exposed to during the internship.
As part of their internship, one of the researchers at DIPPER Lab, Nathaneil Klobodu, is taking the students through Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design using an environmental sensing project at the T.I. Cadence Microelectronics Lab.
The training provides hands-on experience in PCB design and exposes the students to hardware development processes used in environmental sensing applications.
The one-month internship is expected to provide the students with practical exposure to research and innovation while allowing them to learn directly from researchers at the Lab.
DIPPER Lab wishes the students a productive internship experience.
