Anita is a Multimedia Journalist with over five years of professional experience in broadcast and digital journalism, including extensive work with Multimedia Group Limited, Kumasi Unit.
Her career spans multiple roles such as reporter, producer, writer, camera technician, and photo and video editor, enabling me to create compelling content across television, radio, and digital platforms.
During her time at Multimedia Group Limited, she gathered, produced, and edited news content in text, audio, and visual formats for major radio and television bulletins, with a strong focus on business, human-interest, and development reporting.
She was also responsible for videography, scripting, reporting, and editing stories designed to inform, engage, and resonate with diverse audiences.
Beyond newsroom journalism, she has served as a Communications Officer for the KNUST School of Medical Sciences, where I managed the school’s website and social media platforms and produced multimedia content to enhance institutional visibility.
She is currently the Communications Officer for the Department of Computer Engineering, where she oversees digital platforms, create written and visual content, and report departmental activities through storytelling, photography, and videography.
She work also work as a Communication Officer for research initiatives including the Artificial Intelligence For Sustainable Development (AI4SD) Project and the Distributed IoT Platforms, Privacy and Edge Intelligence Research (DIPPER) Lab.
Her work has received national and international recognition. She was the winner of the 2022 Merck Foundation Africa Media Recognition Award in the “More Than a Mother” television category. In 2024, she shot and co-edited “Farmer-Herder Conflict, A Weakened Fight,” a story by Emmanuel Bright Quaicoe that won Overall Best in the Television Category at the Inclusive and Anti-Conflict Journalism Awards.
She also filmed and co-edited footage that contributed to Multimedia Group Limited’s win of the 2025 International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) Star Prize for Rural Culture.
