Victoria Owusua Amoako is a Research Assistant at the DIPPER Lab, where she is deeply involved in projects that combine her passion for food safety and food traceability with the power of blockchain technology. With a focus on improving food supply chains, Victoria is exploring how blockchain can be used to ensure transparency and safety at every step, making sure consumers can trust the journey of their food. She also applies Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance food safety, using machine learning techniques to identify and address potential risks in the food industry. Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). During her time at KNUST, she interned at the DIPPER Lab, where she gained hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms and neural networks, sparking her interest in Data Science and AI applications. Since then, her academic and professional journey has focused on leveraging these technologies to solve real-world problems, especially in food safety and security.
