Incoming KNUST Vice-Chancellor visits DIPPER Lab
The incoming Vice-Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Prof. Christian Agyare, has visited DIPPER Lab as part of a familiarisation tour of the College of Engineering.
The visit formed part of his onboarding activities and provided an opportunity for him to gain first-hand insight into the College's research, innovation and laboratory facilities.
Prof. Agyare was accompanied by the Provost of the College of Engineering, Prof. Kwabena Biritwum Nyarko, the College Registrar, Dr. Paul Addo, as well as Heads of Department within the College.
During the tour, he visited DIPPER Lab, where he interacted with staff and researchers and learned about ongoing projects aimed at addressing real-world challenges through technology and innovation.
The incoming Vice-Chancellor's tour focused on laboratories and research centres within the College of Engineering, providing him with an overview of the facilities, expertise and innovation ecosystem that support teaching, research and innovation.
The engagement formed part of broader efforts to acquaint Prof. Agyare with key academic and research units across the University as he prepares to assume office as Vice-Chancellor.
