DIPPER Lab Partners NEIP to Train 10,000 Youth Under Government’s Adwumawura Programme
The Distributed IoT-Platforms, Privacy and Edge-Intelligence Research (DIPPER Lab) has partnered with the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) to deliver technical training under the Adwumawura Programme, a flagship government initiative targeting youth unemployment in Ghana.
The programme, launched in April 2025 under the newly established Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment, seeks to equip 10,000 selected young Ghanaians with entrepreneurship and innovation skills.
It is backed by a GH¢110 million allocation from the national budget.
DIPPER Lab’s role in the programme is to provide research, innovation and commercialisation expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Blockchain technologies.
The Lab will work closely with other training partners to help build a new generation of tech-driven entrepreneurs across Ghana.
The Adwumawura Programme reflects a national strategy to address rising youth unemployment by investing in enterprise, innovation, and self-employment opportunities.
It aims to build a pipeline of entrepreneurs capable of creating jobs and contributing to Ghana’s long-term economic growth.
DIPPER Lab is proud to contribute to this national effort, bringing its applied research in distributed technologies to support the development of scalable, tech-enabled businesses for inclusive economic transformation.
