Zof AI CEO engages DIPPER Lab researchers on AI and emerging technology innovations
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zof AI, Kevin Kissi, has visited the DIPPER Lab at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he engaged researchers on ongoing innovations and emerging technologies aimed at addressing real-world challenges.
Earlier in the day, Mr. Kissi, together with the Scientific Director and Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, Prof. Eric Tutu Tchao, and Dr. Prince Adjei, paid a courtesy call on the Provost of the College of Engineering, Ing. Prof. Kwabena B. Nyarko.
The visit to the laboratory followed a seminar on frontier artificial intelligence and autonomous agents organised by the Department of Computer Engineering in collaboration with Zof AI.
The interaction provided an opportunity for researchers at the lab to discuss projects currently under development at the laboratory and share insights on emerging technologies with Mr. Kissi.
Accompanied by the Deputy Scientific Director of the DIPPER Lab, Dr. Andrew Selasi Agbemenu, Mr. Kissi toured the laboratory and interacted with researchers working on innovative projects spanning artificial intelligence, healthcare, agriculture and other technology-driven fields.
During the engagement, researchers presented their ongoing projects and demonstrated how their innovations are being developed to solve practical problems across various sectors.
They also discussed the progress of their research, the challenges they are addressing and the potential impact of their work on industry and society.
Mr. Kissi commended the researchers for their commitment to innovation and encouraged them to continue developing practical solutions capable of creating value for society while positioning Ghana as a contributor to the global technology ecosystem.
The visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Department of Computer Engineering, the DIPPER Lab and Zof AI to strengthening research collaboration and creating opportunities for students and researchers to develop technologies with real-world impact.
The meeting focused on deepening collaboration between academia and industry to advance research, innovation and engineering education within the College.
