DIPPER Lab exhibits agritech solutions at Ghana Agrotech Fair 2026
The DIPPER Lab at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has exhibited three agricultural technologies at the 2026 Ghana Agricultural and Agro-Processing Industrial Technology Fair in Accra.
The fair is being organised by the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry in collaboration with the Ghana Export-Import Bank (Ghana EXIM Bank).
The technologies, The HerdWatch, Smart Indigenous Weather App (SIWA), and SmartNitro, were presented to highlight locally developed solutions for agriculture.
Esmond Adjei, Lemuel Siaw, and Russell Boateng Gyamfi, researchers from the DIPPER Lab were present to demonstrate how the systems work and their applications.
The three innovations are part of the seven research-led projects funded by the British Council through the Going Global Partnerships Grant under the IAU-funded projects.
The Fair brings together stakeholders across the agricultural value chain, including farmers, technology developers, processors, investors, and policymakers.
