EJP C-arouNd Team and Foreign Partners Visit Kintampo Waterfalls
Researchers and foreign partners of the EJP C-arouNd Project visited the Kintampo Waterfalls in the Bono East Region after completing fieldwork and community engagement activities in the area.
The tour began at Waterfall Stage 1, where site officials introduced the group to the history and layout of the area.
The team then continued to Stage 2 and Stage 3, observing how the different levels of the waterfall are connected by natural rock formations and flowing streams.
After exploring all three stages, the group proceeded to the canopy walkway, which provides a view of the surrounding forest and sections of the watercourse.
The visit provided an opportunity to learn about the link between eco-tourism, community livelihoods, and environmental conservation.
The EJP C-arouNd Project brought together scientists and institutions from Africa, Europe, South America, and North America to promote regenerative agriculture, carbon storage, and sustainable soil management
