



Imperial College London delegation visits DIPPER Lab to discuss research collaboration
A delegation from Imperial College London has visited the DIPPER Lab at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to explore opportunities for research collaboration, innovation and institutional partnership with the Department of Computer Engineering.
The visit formed part of efforts to engage researchers at the lab and the department on potential areas of collaboration, including joint research, innovation development and knowledge exchange.
He noted that the engagement would help Imperial College London better understand the work being undertaken at the lab and within the department, particularly in areas that focus on translating research into practical technologies and solutions.
Also part of the Imperial delegation was Ama Boakye-Danquah, Associate Director at Imperial College London.
The delegation was received by the Scientific Director of the DIPPER Lab and Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, Prof. Eric Tutu Tchao.
Other lecturers present included the Deputy Scientific Director of DIPPER Lab, Dr. Andrew Selasi Agbemenu; Programme and Training Coordinator at the lab, Dr. Henry Nunoo Mensah; and Dr. Akyana Britwum from the College of Science.
During the engagement, researchers from the lab presented ongoing work and innovation projects being developed within the DIPPER Lab and the Department of Computer Engineering.
Discussions focused on how the institutions could collaborate on research initiatives, innovation development and potential large-scale projects involving researchers from both sides.
The meeting also explored opportunities for joint grant proposals, academic exchanges and partnerships with stakeholders in the innovation and technology ecosystem.
The visit is expected to support further engagement between Imperial College London and researchers at KNUST as both sides explore areas for collaboration in research and innovation.
