Junior Science and Maths Quiz Finalists Visit DIPPER Lab for STEM Immersion
Finalists of the 2025 Junior Science and Maths Quiz (JSMQ) visited the DIPPER Lab at KNUST as part of a STEM immersion experience under the Lab’s Catch-Them-Young Initiative.
The visit brought together students from St. Peter’s RC JHS (Tema), Emmanuel Methodist JHS, and Ancilla JHS.
The session offered the young finalists an opportunity to explore how scientific principles are applied in real-world innovation.
Research assistants at the lab guided the students through various ongoing projects, including robotics, engineering prototypes, Artificial Intelligence models, and environmental technology solutions.
The demonstrations highlighted how technical ideas move from concept to functional systems within the Lab’s research environment.
The Catch-Them-Young Initiative is part of DIPPER Lab’s effort to open its doors to Rising Innovators nationwide, providing early exposure that helps nurture future scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers.
The visit concluded with an interactive engagement where students asked questions about research pathways, innovation processes, and opportunities in STEM fields.
