DIPPER Lab Joins Key National Voices at the 2025 Regional Innovation Synergies Conference in Accra
DIPPER Lab has joined leading institutions and innovators across Ghana at the Official Launch of the 2025 Regional Innovation Synergies (RIS) Conference, currently underway at the University of Ghana in Accra.
This convening aims to strengthen collaboration across the country’s agrifood, climate, research, and technology ecosystem.
The RIS Conference brings together researchers, policymakers, rural and marginalised innovators, development partners, and industry leaders to explore new pathways for joint action and shared impact.
This year’s gathering is guided by the theme, “Aligning Partnerships for Innovation: Building Synergies in Agrifood, Climate Action, and Rural Technology Transfer for Job Creation.”
The conference builds on the ongoing work of the UG Nkabom Collaborative, the Africa Climate Collaborative at UG, and the RISA–BRIInG Project, working alongside the AfriVenture Lab, the UGBS Innovation and Incubation Hub, and several local and international partners.
Together, these institutions have served as crucial connectors across Ghana’s innovation landscape, showing how collective effort can transform ideas into meaningful social and economic impact.
As part of this year’s programme, the Scientific Director of DIPPER Lab, Prof. Eric Tutu Tchao, will feature prominently in a fireside chat.
The chat, scheduled for tomorrow, will focus on the Rural Innovation and Technology Transfer Track: Driving Commercialisation, Regulatory Pathways, Market Linkages, and Cross-sector Collaboration.
As the 2025 edition unfolds in Accra, the goal remains clear: to build a more connected, impactful, and future-ready innovation ecosystem for Ghana.
