JUNIA Director of Research Visits DIPPER Lab to Strengthen Collaboration with KNUST
The Executive Director of Research and Innovation at JUNIA, Pierre Mounanga, together with Florence Malaise, Director of International Affairs at JUNIA, has visited the DIPPER Lab at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to strengthen collaboration and advance joint research initiatives.
The visit forms part of ongoing engagements between JUNIA and KNUST aimed at reinforcing institutional ties, promoting international research cooperation, and expanding opportunities for students and faculty.
As part of the engagement, Master’s and MPhil students from the Computer Engineering Department were interviewed for the JUNIA University Scholarship to pursue further studies in France.
During the session, candidates presented their ongoing research projects, outlining the problems their studies seek to address and the impact of their work in areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and telecommunications.
The panel assessed their technical competencies, research depth, and readiness for advanced academic work in an international environment. Students also shared how the scholarship aligns with their academic ambitions and long-term career goals.
The scholarship process operates under the Erasmus+ programme, which supports student study and internship mobility across partner institutions.
